It's A Dork Quake!! Dorktown #125
This may be the first earthquake captured live on a podcast, yes? Who knew recording at Midnight could yield such things. Yes, a earthquake happens during this podcast...not quite as dramatic as it sounds...but still, it happened.
Also there's the normal drinking of craft beer from Tioga Sequoia. Bells doing funny stuff. An "Or Game". Support of indie podcasting. A music break by the Old Tire Swingers. A terrible Halloween costume from Young Bells and more.

- Mikey may need to look into AA.
- Fresno closings and future drinking possibilities in The No.
- Indie podcasts are friendly to Dorktown (or pretend to be anyway).
- Crap stories...yep.
- Dorktown Hotline calls.
- More indie podcast loving.
- Music Break: Strange Vine "Sleepwalker"
- Or Game and ForItOrAgainit? are played (Listen for swinging penis!)

Dorktown's Top Podcasts From September, 2012
What are the top podcasts Dorktown listened to and enjoyed during September 2012? Well the indie podcasts are becoming stronger and stronger and more interesting. Not a lot of change to this month's mainstream list. Let's have a look at them both.
In mainstream, the continuing storyline of "Emo Kev" gave Smodcast a big boost this month. But Ear Candy was able to hold it off as they are trying some new formatting and beginning to post two shows a week. WTF has fallen into a bit of a rut at the moment, it'll be interesting to see if it comes back on continues to slide.
DORKTOWN MAINSTREAM PODCAST TOP TEN - SEPTEMBER, 2012
In indie, keeping the #1 spot is a show about taking a crap...yep. But Firnecast is still knocking at the door. And look out for Tiny Odd Conversations as they were featured in iTunes "New and Noteworthy" which launched them into the Top 30 of comedy podcasts on iTunes. Crazy stuff. We may have to put them on the Mainstream List if this keeps up.

Dorktown Top Ten Podcasts from August, '12
It took a while but the Dorktown
Top Ten Podcasts list is back. We helped with a Fresno music festival and that got us behind on one of our favorite things, listing all our current favorite podcasts. Here are the current rankings for the month of September. These are actually the podcasts that were listened to from the beginning of August until now, we've changed the wording a bit from last month (just as a boring and nerdy aside).
Let's see what podcasts are getting the most buzz according to... us.

Dorktown Lists: What Beer Should You Be Drinking For IPA Day?
Happy IPA Day to one and all. Indian Pale Ale's are Dorktown's favorite style of beer to drink (in a responsible manner, of course). So on this, the greatest beer holiday of the year, we'd like to share our current favorites, all Dorktown Podcast approved.
- General Sherman (Tioga-Sequoia). Yes TS gives us beer to drink on the podcast but we seriously love this one. Bells actually went and bought some on his own the other day.
- Pliny The Elder (Russian River).
- Racer 5 (Bear Republic)
- Hops Of Wrath (Dust Bowl Brewing)
- West Coast (Green Flash)
- Blind Pig (Russian River)
- Yosemite Fall (Three Monkeys)
- Lagunitas IPA (Lagunitas Brewing)

Remotely Drunk - Dorktown #119
We just had a lot of fun with this one. Too much? Yes. Annoying sometimes? Yes. But good times. Dorktown's first ever guest, Aaron "The La Selva Beach Connection" comes back and gets rude with the gang. As usual we talk (over each other) about: Fresno, Clovis, craft beer, beer beer, Gold Lays, sexy Armenians, extra holes, other podcasts and so on. We also play a mega Or Game/Forit Or Againit/Is It Metal.
Make sure to listen for the remotes with Dead In 60 Years!! Plus some live Light Thieves and we play the new Fierce Creatures. BONUS remote with the mom older sister of Whitney Freeman from Achievement House. There may even be a "Bert" Easter Egg in a remote or two.
It gets real "drunk-y" so be warned. Have a listen:

MEGACAST 1 - Dorktown episode 118
This one is a roller coaster, friends. Two Fresno podcasts do a mash-up with Dorktown to create a MEGACAST! So basically three podcasts try to do their podcasts at one time. Does it work? We're not sure ourselves so please give it a shot and let us know. We do know we were dicks (didn't mean to be it just seemed to happen) and loudmouthed most of the show - sure was fun.
THE PLAYERS:
- Adam and Ed from The View Looks Good From Here, Fresno.
- Chris and Kelly Brown from The Married Gamers.
- Bells, Mikey and Producer Becky from Dorktown.
YO! Support Tioga Sequoia Brewing because they are big supporters of Craft Beer, Downtown Fresno and Fresno podcasts!

Dorktown Top Ten: Podcasts For May
Dorktown has decided to start a monthly list of what podcasts the Dorktown Podcast crew and select Dorktown listeners have been enjoying (or not enjoying) over the past month. We'll try and average them out the best we can and rank them - although I'm pretty bad at math so don't freak the fuck out if you think something should be ranked higher. It'll be a combo of amount of listening and enjoyment from said listening.
There will be a Overall Top Ten and a (since we are/love local and indie) Indie Top Ten. And so we're clear, if you're a regular iTunes Top 100-er and/or are part of a major podcast network and have a sponsor (basically if Stamps.com is mentioned on your podcast), then you aint indie (and you probably don't give two shiz about if you're ranked here).
So let's give this a shot.

Dorks In 60 Years - Dorktown #114
It happened once over at DI60Y: two local fowl-mouthed and swarthy podcasters coming together on one episode. You would have thought these two would've learned from that episode never to 'cross streams' again - too much shit talking for one person's ears to take.
They did not learn. In this episode of Dorktown, a majority of the DI60Y crew joins Bells, Mikey and Producer B in the Dork studio for a meta local podcast. There's talk of:
- Bullard parties.
- Podcast history lessons.
- DI60Y's beginnings.
- The crews current local video project, Who Eats Brunch.
- How do you get free beer?
- REMOTE: More meta podcasting with the Married Gamers.
- Manchester Barhouse.
